Expressions of Sympathy
In addition to the numerous emails and phone calls, many cards have been sent by people all over the country upon receiving the news of the death of Bill Erickson. My brother and I are overwhelmed. We are thankful for the words of comfort and the promises of continued prayer. We are amazed at the speed the news spread. And we are so proud of our Dad.
Thank you all.

Dear Danny,
I’m sorry to hear of your father’s death; however, we know that he had faith in the God that saved him! All our years of life in Him keep the treasure of salvation before us–and the joy that comes from such hope.
I will always treasure our teen years of friendship, song, and “Alleluia Choir.” Perhaps we took for granted how formative those times were–especially in learning to embrace brothers and sisters of various Christian traditions. Anyway, I am grateful to be able to count you as a special friend and brother, and I will be remembering you and your family in my prayers.
Grace and peace to you, in Christ,
Glenn McFarland

Dear Danny,
This is Shelly. Shelly Erickson. Dave’s youngest daughter.
Are you near Nashville? We are hosting a surprise 80th Birthday party for my Dad THIS Sunday the 19th 4-6pm, Southwest Nashville (Loveless Cafe’ area if you are familiar with this area?)
VISAGE MedArt (My husbands office in Southwest Bellevue)
7835 Old Harding Pike
Nashville 37221
(Behind Walgreens on HWY 100)
I have been searching for photos online of My dad’s “life” to create a scrapbook and remembered your terrific blog (seeking picts of Uncle Bill)
I know it’s not likely but how warmed he would be to see you, a part of his brother
Would be nice to say hello as well. My cell phone is 440-2001
Certainly invite Andy if he is nearby. It would be a lovely treat, (small crowd, 20-25 of us and my dad has no idea.
Just a thought,
In Him, your cousin,
Shelly
